The depth adjustment was stuck on the first unit. Either a minor manufacturing defect or it happened in handling. No biggie; I'm expecting a replacement later today.I used the compressor to control depth of drive and installed about 800-feet of base and door moldings - around 1800 nails, 3/4-inch to 2-and-a-half inches, without a hitch even after bending a few 2-and-a-half inch fasteners into perfect "U" shapes when I hit a framing nail, there was never a jam, never a misfire, and never a problem.Drove all but a handful of fasteners without using the no-mar tip and left no surface marks.
