I purchased the bosch 36V drill/driver and wasn't happy. I was expecting more from it. Well this 18V baby delivered. AT 18V's it has more rpm then the 36V (1800 to 1400), more torgue (650 to 600), a metal chuck with 25 position clutch. The 36V has a plastice chuck with 15 position clutch. It's smaller and lighter...there's even a small LED light on it. The best part, other then it's great performance, is that Bosch has a rebate for a free 18V litheon slim pack battery on this model.
